Schermata 2010-03-11 a 17.29.31New York Times agrees with me! :) Did you remember the first post of this blog? On January 27th I wrote an article about Tuscany in Winter (I have even created a category here on the blog under “TuscanSeasons” called “Winter“).

My idea was to open people’s mind: Tuscany can be a great option during Winter for those who are looking for a certain type of travel. That is what I talked about. That is what New York Times journalist, Danielle Pergament, talked about either.

You shouldn’t miss The New York Times photo gallery, it is really inspiring. Here is what one of the most influent newspaper of the world wrote about Tuscany:

Winter may be the best time to visit Tuscany, when the color palette shifts to bright green, cafes are filled with locals instead of tourists and the cuisine is at its freshest. At left, a view of the Val d’Orcia, known for the cypress trees that line its winding roads, in January.

And what’s your favorite season in Tuscany? Share your opinion with other readers!
