For two sundays of November in Pistoia visitors will have the chance to have free guided tours in the most evocative places of the city, with an in depth explanation by professional guides.
Here is the program of the guided tours:
Sunday 14th November
Morning
From 9:15 am until 10:45 pm and from 11:15 am until 13 pm a guided tour of the “La Fortezza Santa Barbara” and the history museum of Pistoia.
Afternoon
From 3 pm until 4:45 pm discover “Medieval Pistoia”:
Climbing to the top of the bell tower and a presentation of the city of Pistoia: Cattedrale di San Zeno, Palazzo Comunale, Antico Palazzo dei Vescovi, Palazzo del Tribunale, Torre di Catilina, old church of Santa Maria Cavaliera, Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo, Visit of the baptistery.
Explanation of the “San Giovanni Fuorcivitas” church façade.
Visit of the “Piazza della Sala”.
