Where is San Galgano? It’s great!
but san galgano is superfamous, not hidden
cool suggestion!
the beauty of italy takes my breath away. those churches, oh i have to go there before i die. my dream for so many years. i listened one day to a pbs special and the guests were david foster with andrea bocelli. it was my first time i had listened to opera. when andrea started to sing i was so touched i couldn’t move. every song more beautiful, and i know no italian. he has the most beautiful voice and i have heard his voice is the sound of angels singing. i believe.

Hey Michela- nice article…..
… would add to your hidden list Pieve di San Gennaro in the small village of San Gennaro near Lucca.
I stayed in this village last year, quiet place with beautiful views and this amazing church. It has a sculpture of Archangel Gabriel by Da Vinci …Unfortunately when I visited the church was under renovation but one day I’d like to go back and see this sculpture.
