Is it a sweet or savory pie? Why have to answer when in Tuscany’s Versilia it can be both. Tradition wants this pie to be baked with both salt and sugar, the result is unexpectedly fantastic. It is served in the beginning – in the middle or at the end of a meal and is a pleasant discovery at all times!
- 600 gr. zucchini
- 150 gr. flour
- 100 gr. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 50 gr. melted butter
- pinch of vanilla powder
- half a glass of warm milk
- 1 tbs of salt
Mix all the ingredients together excluding the zucchini. Add the fine slices of zucchini in the end.
Pour the mixture into a baking pan that you previously greased with a piece of butter.
Cook for one hour at medium temperature.
