What: “Colline di Firenze” (translates into Hills of Florence)
When: November 24th – December 5th
Who: Organised by the Consorzio Toscano IGP – consortium dedicated to protecting and bringing olive oil producer’s of Florence’s province together (12,000 members)
Why: to let people taste the fantastic newly pressed oil produced in the hills around Florence in menus and tastings by famous chefs.
Guest Starring: 5 of the cities most famous chefs – Marco Stabile, restaurant Ora d’Aria, Vito Mollica restaurant Palagio of the Four Seasons Hotel, Giovanna Iorio restaurant Murate, Giuseppe Ancona of Osteria Tornabuoni e Gabriele Tarchiani, restaurant Targa Bistrot.
