Tour in the Natural Park of Maremma
An excursion between Alberese and Cala di Forno in the beautiful context of the Park and Nature Reserve near Grosseto
Magnificent excursion inside the Maremma Park to the Uccellina cliffs and Cala di Forno, one of the best-kept "secrets" of the Tyrrhenian coast. Through the monumental olive grove of Collelungo, we will enter the Riserva Integrale, walking on the south side of the Uccellina hills among cysts and fragrant rosemary.
We will arrive at the splendid Tower of Castel Marino from where we will admire a splendid panorama of the Pineta Granducale, to continue to the Paduletto wetland area in the retrodunal refuge and feeding area for wild boar and deer. Through rare panoramic views of the coastal area, we will arrive at the height of Cala Rossa and finally at Cala di Forno, a place once the Port of the Abbazia di San Rabano (Abbey of San Rabano) and later the seat of the customs of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, now frequented mainly by wild animals. Partly retracing the outward path, we will admire its different perspectives and return through the Pineta Granducale to conclude a great experience.
The tour will take place on Sunday, April 14, 2024 with departure at 8:30 am.

The guide reserves the right to make changes to the hike to ensure the safety of the group, or to cancel the hike in case of bad weather and/or alertness.
The Excursion will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 25 people.
