In Montecatini an exposition dedicated to contemporary art

The Mo.C.A. Civic Gallery - Montecatini Contemporary Art presents an exposition dedicated to contemporary art: "Florilegio Italiano – Artisti invitano Artisti" (Italian Florilegium - Artists invite Artists).

From March 9 to September 15, more than fifty works of Italian and international painters and sculptors are on display, donated to the Civic Gallery as part of the project of the same name.

The initiative was born in winter 2020, with the beginning of a collaboration between the Municipal Government and professors Roberto Giovannelli, Italo Bressan, Andrea Granchi and Gianfranco Notargiacomo, who, over the years, have invited other artists to donate a work. More than 50 artists have responded positively to this appeal, including Luca Alinari, Gianni Asdrubali, Ezio Gribaudo, Riccardo Guarneri, Paolo Minoli, Ugo Nespolo, Claudio Olivieri.

Framing the exhibition are a series of collateral initiatives, such as the publication of a catalog, the making of a film and free guided tours, including in foreign languages.
