Kite Festival and Flower Exhibition-Market

On Sunday, April 7, elegant brightly handcrafted colored kites will soar in the sky above San Miniato, following the ancient Tuscan tradition: river reeds dried in the open air, twine, glue made from water and flour, and greaseproof or tissue paper.

It is a festival celebrating the arrival of spring, flanked by the Flower Exhibition-Market and the Borgo Fiorito initiative, which transforms the entire town into a fragrant garden.

The squares will also feature the Local Zero-Kilometer Products Market, with delicious marzuoli truffles and other products of the earth. Stands will also include antiques and the creations of local artisans.
