Located in the province of Siena, in an suggestive natural landscape among the woods of Monte Amiata and the Crete of the Valdorcia, the Nuove Terme San Filippo and the adjoining hotel are situated in a large park in the Bagni di San Filippo town. The recently renovated thermal complex includes areas where onw can get mud therapies, inhalation therapies, rock therapies and esthetic services. Located next to the Fosso Bianco, noted for its high-calcium waters, is the thermal swimming pool that is open to the public. It features a solarium and natural hydromassage.

How to get there
:
By car, take the SS 2 Cassia along the Siena-Viterbo. Turn at the Bagni San Filippo exit. Or take the A1 motorway to Chiusi-Chianciano exit and form there take the SS 2 Cassia toward Monte Amiata.
By train, take the Florence-Rome railway and get off at Chiusi-Chianciano Terme.
Opening hours:
Hotel and esthetics center is open from Easter to December. Thermal pool is open to all every day from 8:30am to 7pm. The thermal spa complex is open from May to October.

The most characteristic aspect of Bagno Vignoni, in addition to its thermal waters, is the small borgo’s structure that has remained intact for centuries. The square, in fact, is unlike any other thanks to the boiling water basin at its center. The thermal spring that flows from it is 52 degrees Celsius. The thermal water basin is at the center of this square, closed by a 1.5 –meter-high retaining wall. The surrounding buildings were constructed by Bernardo Rossellino in honor of Pope Pius II. It is also where Saint Catherine of Siena stayed while using the thermal springs.

How to get there:
By car, take the A1 motorway to the Chiusi-Chiancinao Terme exit. By train, take the Rome-Florence-Bologna-Milan railway line and exit at Chiusi-Chianciano Terme.
Opening hours:
Open from June to October. Mon to Sat, from 8am to 1pm and 4pm to 7pm.

Located on the tuscan-Lazio border, between Monte Cetona and Monte amiata, the Terme di San Casciano dei Bagni differs form other spas thanks to the extraordinary beauty of the surrounding landscape. A place that is embrace by its long and distinguished history, it still possesses monuments from the Etruscan and Roman ages. It is also the place where the naturalist Giorgio Santi exalted the beneficial effects of its thermal waters.

History remains intact in San Casciano a Bagni and can be seen by the sturcutres that still stand today: Bagno Vecchio is the oldest and most important pool, also called Portico Grande. Located in a splendid Medicean building, the thermal and esthetic complex is a modern structure that boasts myriad comforts and treatments. Its hydrotherapy treatments are the best in Italy.

How to get there:
By car, take the A1 Firenze-Roma motorway and exit at Fabro. Take the state road to San Casciano. By train, go to the Chiusi-Chianciano Terme station.
Opening hours:
Open all year from 9am to 7pm. In August, the thermal pool is open from 10pm to 12am.

According to ancient legend, Saturn once joined a group of Men that were in constant battle. He took a thunderbolt and shot against the Earth, causing a spring of warm sulfuric water to explode from its volcano and begin to flow everywhere. This water calmed the Men and put an end to the fighting. It was from that spring that the wisest and happiest Men on earth lived. This occurred in the heart of Tuscany, where the thermal water still flows at 800 liters a second and its temperature remains at 37 degrees Celsius.

How to get there:
By car, take the A1 Milan-Flroence motorway and exit at Firenze Certosa. Then take the Siena-Grosseto-Scansano-Montemerano-Saturnia highway. It is about 200km from Florence, and 450km from Milan.
