Events in Campiglia

Food festivals and other events, from art and culture to folklore and cuisine. The events organized in Campiglia are a mix of large and small initiatives. During the month of May, the Historical Day of Campiglia is held in the small village, which comes alive with festivities. Scenes of everyday life are acted out by people in historical costumes, the ancient jobs of the past are carried out once again as are the long-lost professions of artisans. It is a big party that celebrates the arrival of Spring. There is a historical parade, concerts, games, cross bow activities and a Palio race. The medieval dinner takes place in the oldest area of Campiglia in the month of August, and serves traditional recipes.
