The Pisan Hills Wine Trail leads to.... spas, museums, cellars and vespa scooters! From April 15 until the end of the month of June, the Wine Roads organization has arranged a detailed calendar of events highlighting the best wines from the Pisa area and the best museums, spas, and cellars will be open for visits, tastings and dinners.
Every Sunday at 11 at the National Museum of San Matteo in Pisa there will be "A masterpiece, a great wine". Eleven meetings which will allow visitors to learn more about paintings and wine from the Hills of Pisa. Each event concludes with a tasting.
Every Thursday evening from April 12, in the tasting room of Savini Tartufi, the Association of Excellent Foods organizes dinners that unite important companies form the Pisa area. It will be possible to taste the best product from the Valdera area: wine, extra virgin olive oils, truffles, eggs, saffron, cheeses, charcuterie. The Chef will be well-known Paolo Parisi.
Terricciola, City of Wine, will offer visits to and tastings at the best cellars of the area from Tuesday to Saturday.The Spa at Casciana will offer special rates for its 900 Years of Wellbeing celebration, for either one or two nights. And don't miss a visit to the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera, a must-see destination for people who love Vespa, one of the biggest symbols of Made in Italy.
