Surf Lessons in Versilia

The youth of Versilia didn't have anyone to look up to - noone who could teach them the styles and techniques of surfing. so they had to invent it themselves, basing their learning on experimentation. Thanks to these kids, the pioneers of Versilia surf, the sport has become a rage in Versilia which now has its own surf shops and surfing schools.Today Versilia is known as the capital of Italian surf, thanks to its surfers who have gained international recognition.

Versilia is an ideal spot for surfing and learning to surf in Tuscany thanks to its regular surf and safe, sandy seabeds. The local winds often guarantee small summer waves which are perfect for learning to surf. The Surf School, at the Bagno Aloha is a meeting point for local surfers, and is located just 100metres from the I Pini Hotel.

The school organizes individual and group lessons at all levels. If you are looking for a full-immersion experience sign up for a surf camp, with full days dedicated to learning the sport. There are also week-long courses for kids offered, again, for individuals and groups.
