Plants, earth and flowers. And water, air and light. And unbridled love for nature, landscape and the changing of seasons. All this is “Gardens in Festival”, an historical expo which today has received an infusion of new ideas and scenes through two appointments which are in programe for 2010. Two excellent occasions for visiting the cradle of the Renaissance. From April 16-18 the first event takes place in the Garden of Palazzo Corsini sul Prato in Florence, and from September 24-26, as is tradition, the second event at the Villa Le Corti in San Casciano Val di Pesa.
So this spring, in the garden of one of the most beautiful palazzi of Florence, it will be possible to appreciate and discover the urban and domestic sides of a passion for plants. A passion which is married with design, technology and innovative solutions for gardens, terracces and vegetable patches in “city” sizes. At the beginning of fall, on the other hand, it will be possible to enjoy in a light, human way the incredible potential that nature offers at all levels, in the open countryside, in one fo the most characteristic parks of the Chianti.
An occasion to see Tuscany in the colours of the most fascinating seasons of the year: from those of spring, with flowers just budding, through to the warm tones of a Tuscan autumn. Two faces of a region that always has something new to offer, a landscape that in every moment of the year is worthy of fairytales and postcards. From the rolling hills of the Chianti to the open plains of Florence, take refuge from the chaos and monotony of the every day. Take this chance to immerse yourself completely in the atmosphere of these territories, maybe even on bike or by foot, and nature will embrace you in a whirlwind of emotions and new discoveries.
