Montecatini Golf Club with its 18 hole par 72 course measures 5857 square metres and lies in the heart of Tuscany between the coast of Versilia and the magnificent cities of Florence, Lucca and Pisa.
Set on an estate belonging to an old Tuscan family, this area offers superb panoramic views of the rich and varied landscape, famous its historical and cultural attractions.
The Valdinievole area is famous all over the world for the city of Montecatini which is one of the biggest and most well known European centres of health and well-bring with nine luxurious thermal resorts.
The golf course is situated in a hilly area with holes made more appealing by both their technical difficulty and their beautiful scenery.
The first nine holes feature olive trees that mark out the gentle fairways and the boundary of the course, while the second nine feature the beautiful colours and perfumes of the Mediterranean scrub made up of heather, broom and laurel.
Two lakes included on the course make it all the more challenging.
The club house which blend in perfectly with the surrounding landscape was restored respecting the original historical structure. It stands on Etruscan and Roman settlements that date back before year 1000.
