In 1862, the area received further recognition when well-known architect Giuseppe Poggi built a large neoclassical thermal structure admired by many. The current structure was built in the 1960s and is able to serve up to 1,000 guests per day. The historic section, now restored and home to the Gran Caffe’ delle Terme, boasts frescos that range from neoclassical to liberty. It is an elegant, relaxing and welcoming place to pass your time.
