A series of walks through beautiful countryside, relaxing your mind, energising your body and admiring plants, views, animals and the stunning natural beauty of Tuscany. These guided nature trails will help you admire and understand the scenery around you, and to discover new areas of this gorgeous region.
The Walking Festival will be held throughout these protected parks: hundreds of events celebrating nature, exercise, the discovery of extraordinary places and learning more about the ones you already know, as well as the beauty of sharing feelings and experiences.
This magical region of Tuscany has a green heart, and owes its charm to its wonderful unspoilt landscapes, where you can lose yourself and wander through the beautiful countryside for hours. Tuscany’s stunning coast is also best discovered through its natural parks.
The National Park of the Tuscan Archipelago is made up of seven beautiful islands dotted amongst the crystal clear water: it is the greatest maritime park in Italy and the largest in all European seas.
The Regional Park of Maremma is full of sandy beaches, cliffs, marshes, pine forests and rugged hills: it is a wild place which can be explored on foot, horseback or by bicycle.
The Regional Park of Migliarino, San Rossore and Massaciuccoli runs from Versilia until the Pisan coast, a pine forest which overlooks the sea and offers a series of gentle walks for all the family.
The Parks of the Cornia Valley, on the Etruscan coast, not only have the splendid sea to admire but also historic mines and fascinating Etruscan archaeology.
