The Spa of Equi Terme

Equi Terme is situated close to one of the most imposing peaks of the Apuane Alps, the Pizzo d’Uccello, set on a steep hill which promptly becomes rock. The Northern face of this mountain, famous among climbers, appears as if wanting to protect this little hamlet in the Lunigiana region, pleasant, mysterious, enriched by that special atmosphere which only places lived in for a very long time can instil.

 

For many centuries now, the rain waters have been collected by the imposing Apuane Alps, filtered by the subsoil and then entrusted once again to the surface where, not far from the medieval hamlet, they are collected and put to use: the curative waters that for centuries have fed the Terme di Equi that originate from the marble heart of the Apuane Alps. 

Thanks to these special traits, in Equi, the tourist can combine the beneficial effects of the Apuane waters with a pleasant stay in the territory of Lunigiana, uncontaminated and rich in ancient testimonies.
