"Lunatica" is the festival taking place in the Municipality of Massa-Carrara. It will be played out in some of the most enchanting sites of the province and will take place between July 22 and August 3.
Lasting 13 evenings and hosting 26 performances, "Lunatica" presents acts which have already won recognition in the past, with the energy and youthful vigor that young troupes have requested to be showcased and given a stage on which to perform. For this 2012 edition Lunatica calls upon several artists whom have developed a working relationship with the festival and the Apuan territory in the past.
Beginning on Sunday, July 22 at Aulla: in Piazza Pietro Nenni at 21.30 the eveining commences with a performance entitled Risorge la luna. Under the artistic direction of Cinzia Bertilorenzi, artists taking the stage will be Quelli del Grock, Caos Remix, and finally a performance by the Liberi di Phylical Theatre, Euquilibre eventi, Icaro Big Young Band. There are several types of artistic displays with a connection to fire. The location and the name of the Festival point to a well-thought out and planned event. The theme is that of reconstruction, and life that goes on, paying homage to the community of Aulla and its surrounding territories.
