The American rhythm & blues artist, with his faithful guitar lucille, will perform Friday, July 13 on the prestigious stage in Piazza Duomo in Pistoia. This is a great comeback for the artist, considered one of the last living legends of the blues, seven years after his last appearance at the Pistoia summer music festival.
Riley B. King is known to the public for his elegant and warm rhythms and blues that has characterized his music through the decades. Winner of 14 Grammys, he is considered among the top ten best guitarists in the world. In his long career, he has published over 40 studio albums and played with the best in the world, from Eric Clapton to James Brown, David Gilmour, Mark Knopfler, and U2 to Zucchero, among many others.
