Lake Chalet

The chalet is situated on the banks of Massaciuccoli Lake. Its spectacular terrace offers the opportunity to observe the marshland against the backdrop of the Apuane Alps. The chalet was built at the end of the 1800s and has been restored preserving its original structure. Puccini used to come here often for inspiration and meals and it became an important point for memories of Puccini. In front of the Villa Puccini, just a few steps from the theatre where the Festival Pucciniano is held every year, the Chalet is still a meeting point for musicians and artists. The interior still has frescoes painted by the Macchiaioli.
