Arezzo area, Leonardo, a permanent exhibition

Displays research on Leonardo in the Arezzo territory

The exhibition, "Museum, Leonardo and the Arezzo area", which is set up in the consecrated church of San Sebastiano, in via Ricasoli in Arezzo, spotlights the presence of Leonardo da Vinci in the area.

The initiative was made possible due to the artistic and scientific research carried out by Prof. Carlo Starnazzi, an Arezzo native who has studied Leonardo, his works and their link to the area of Arezzo for years.

ON DISPLAY
There is a Leonardo the painter and map-maker display; his hydraulic projects of the area; and his mechanical and architectural projects in Arezzo.

The exhibition is also important for the scientific and educational approach it takes regarding Leonardo and his work. Crafted to attract school kids from Arezzo and across Italy, touch screens are aimed at stimulating curiosity among students and adults alike. Special itineraries are available by age group.
