This museum is housed in an old mill built during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. It remained active until the second world war. In 1989, the mill was purchased by the City Council and opened to the public. The year 2000 saw the restoration of its wooden structures, while the technological equipment that characterized the mill throughout its history has remained intact. Visitors to the museum can learn about the processing of olive oil thanks to animal-driven systems (grinding) and human resources (clamp work). According to the approved project, guests will have access to rooms intended for laboratory work and be able to view the rooms that once served as living quarters for the people who ran the mill. Once they have been properly set up, these spaces will have didactic purposes and be used to illustrate the oil cycle.
