A path on the Isle of Elba for the visually impaired

This guided path develops over about one kilometre along the western side of Monte Perone, a brief distance from the ridge. An easy itinerary considered for those who might have mobility problems tied to their reduced visual capacity, it is nevertheless an educational and beautiful path suited to everyone.

The path is structured along a forest ring-path: a handrail runs along the entire itinerary through to the arrival point, at a small panoramic amphitheatre, where there are a series of explanatory panels and benches for a rest and a bite to eat. Along the handrail are located a few panels that describe the characteristics of the local environment and identify the local flora.
