Tuscany for kids

Tuscany has all sorts of amusement parks and other destinations for its youngest visitors. Many of its museums have child-friendly themes and some - notably the Palazzo Strozzi in Florence - provide special programming for children in English on a regular basis.

Among the theme parks in Tuscany one of the most appreciated by both young and old is the Pinocchio Park near Collodi  - a huge area dedicated to the famous puppet located near the birthplace of his creator, Carlo Lorenzini.

Tuscany's amusement parks range from the traditional (and not so) rides, to water parks, to miniature sports centers with soccer fields, basketball courts and mini-golf. Created for children, these parks are excellent destinations for families on vacation who want to spend a fun day with their children.
