There are many interesting trails that wind their way throughout the hill towns of Florence. Visitors will enjoy a trip through Bagno a Ripoli, Barberino Val d’Elsa, Certaldo Fiesole, Figline Valdarno, Florence, Impruneta, Incisa, Lastra a Signa, Montelupo Fiorentino, Montespertoli, Pelago, Pontassieve, Reggello, Rignano, San Casciano Valdipesa, Scandicci and Tavarnelle Valdipesa.
Route 1
After Scandicci, provincial road 98 crosses the wooded hill of Roveta and leads to San Vincenzo a Torri. This route proceeds along provincial road 12 toward Ginestra. After the district known as ‘La Luna’, you’ll reach Lastra a Signa. Take Highway 67 along the Arno to Montelupo Fiorentino, where road 73 leads to Malmantile. Visitors to the area will appreciate its vineyards and delight in its local craftsmanship and cuisine.
Route 1

Route 2

The route continues along provincial road 49, toward Marcialla; the road then leads to Montespertoli before you arrive in Baccaiano. Along these roads you can appreciate the beauty of the Florentine landscape, its vineyards, olive trees, cypresses, villas and castles.

Proceed to San Donato in Collina, where you take the SP 89 to until you reach Bomboniere. The S.P. 90 will take you to Rosano and back to Florence. After crossing the Arno River, highway 67 leads to Sieci, where it goes toward Molin del Piano and finally reaches Vetta le Croce. Go through the historic center of Fiesole on your way back to Florence. This charming route is full of vineyards, olive groves, historical monuments and handicrafts.

This noteworthy route allows you to enjoy the beauty of the valley on both sides of the Arno; it boasts excellent food products and high quality craftsmanship.
