Accessible beaches in Orbetello

The town of nearby Orbetello has created apath to facilitate disabled access to their public beach frominside the “Dune della Feniglia” State Nature Reserve (another access point is at the Orbetello entrance of the reserve).

At the entrance gate, visitors should ring the bell labelled “Corpo Forestale” in order to get permission to reach the reserved parking lot by car. The lot is located in front of the trail that leads to the beach. The path (approximately 400 meters) runs on a raised platform down to the shoreline of the free beach. The platform continues down to the “Tenda Gialla” umbrella stand and café/restaurant. The platform can be accessed from June to September.

HOW TO GET THERE
From Orbetello take the road towards Feniglia and turn at the first left hand road towards the Reserve. The entrance gate is at the end of the road, just after the parking lot.
