This well-known seaside resort is deservedly popularThe walled medieval town, complete with towers, gates and a 15th-century castle, is perched on an outcropping of Monte Petriccio. Free lunch. In the afternoon free visit of Grosseto. Grosseto is Maremma's main town and stretches along the Ombrone river valley, close to the coast. The old city centre is very characteristic, enclosed by the Medicean walls which still keep their original shape. What's more, an extended pedestrian area makes this town particularly appealing and people-friendly. Day 4 – Departure for Massa Marittima with a free visit of its impressive cathedral, one of the Romanesque-Gotihic masterpieces of Central Italy, Palazzo dell ‘Abbondanza, Palazzo Pretorio and the Town Hall. Free lunch. Remaining day at disposal. In the evening wine tasting followed by the concert at Tenuta Rocca di Montemassi. Overnight stay in hotel. Day 7 – After breakfast departure for a panoramic tour along the scenic road, which runs all around the promontory of Argentario and offers a truly unique view .
