Tourism packages for www.turismo.intoscana.it

Standard rules and regulations

Relative to the propositions of tourism offers or packages to be posted on the www.turismo.intoscana.it website, those able to send proposals are those individuated by the Testo Unico sul Turismo and in particular in article 82 – section 1:

“(...) c) travel and hotel intermediaries who organize trips on behalf of companies listed in a) and b) for individuals or groups, as well as organizing individual services with direct sales to the public (...)”

It follows that the sale of one or more tourism service and/or a combination of services for one single price, may only be effectuated by tour operators (letter a) or travel agencies (letter b); all other facilities (B&B, agriturismo, hotels) may only offer, in addition to overnight stays, services that are available within their facilities. There are two types of proposals:

1) ACCOMMODATION FACILITY OFFERS: includes overnight stays, restaurants and other services available within the facility (i.e. Sporting activities, wine and food tastings, cultural and spa services).

2) TRAVEL AGENCY OFFERS: includes proposals of one or more services in addition to     accommodations managed by external businesses.

How to send proposals for publication

-This is a free service

-Offers should be sent to pacchetti.turismo@intoscna.it, in Word format. Offers may be in Italian or English; they will be published in the language in which they are received.

-Once the offers have been approved for content and format, they will be published on the www.turismo.intoscana.it website within seven days of receipt and will remain online until the offer expires.

-Offers will be inserted on the site's management system and classified according to location and website categories (seaside, mountains, countryside, spas, cities). Beginning in June, offers will listed in the following areas:

    -in the “Vacation packages” area (may be consulted with search engine)

    -on the www.intoscana.it home page

    -on the home page of each location label (seaside, mountains, countryside, spas, cities)

    -on the internal pages under “Vacation packages”

In order to guarantee equal visibility to all offers, publication is automatic and random for each click in every area. There are no promotions or special privileges available.

    -title: max 50 characters

    -short subtitle: max 90 characters

    -description: max 1,800 characters that include:       

    -description of offer/trip schedule

    -start and end dates

    -hotel classification

    -type of rooms offered (doubles, singles, with/without bathroom)

    -single room supplement

    -discounts for 3rd bed

    -available services

    -price

    -services excluded from price

    -services included in price

    -cancellation conditions

    -how to book and pay

    -entity providing offer (name, address, contact information, partita IVA)

    -link to website or reservation page with information about offer

    -1 image (to be sent as attachment to email only)

All fields (except image) are mandatory.

All materials must be free from copyright infringement and freely publishable on the www.turismo.intoscana.it website.

Offers, packages and information not sent to the correct email address or sent in the wrong format will not be published.
